About this work
Some new heads include Wi-Fi. Some older heads accept a radio accessory the manufacturer built for that model. We can install and connect an operator that has that feature. The home network, the password, and any app account stay with the household.
What we do
Mount the head, set the limits, and join it to the Wi-Fi the household provides, when that model supports it. A serial label from the cover tells us whether an accessory is even possible.
What we do not do
We do not sell a monitoring subscription, and we do not troubleshoot the internet provider. If the wall button runs the door and the phone does not, the note should say that. The door can still be a healthy mechanical door.
Power cuts
Wi-Fi does not move a door during an outage. A battery pack is a different page. Say if the real problem is the power, the network, or the rail.
The network stays with the house
Some operators have Wi-Fi built in. Some older heads accept a radio accessory the manufacturer designed for that model. We can install a head that has the feature and join it to the network the household provides. The router, the password, and any app account stay with the household. Do not put the Wi-Fi password in the form. We do not sell a monitoring plan.
An app is not the wall button
If the phone will not run the door and the wall button will, the mechanical door may be fine and the radio or the network may not. If neither runs, this is an opener or a balance problem, not a software problem. Wi-Fi does not move a door during a power cut. A battery pack, where the head supports one, is a different trade. Say whether the trouble is the power, the network, or the rail.
Common questions
Can every opener be made into a smart opener?
No. Only heads with Wi-Fi, or a manufacturer accessory for that model. A generic plug is not assumed to be safe or supported.
Do you need the Wi-Fi password?
Only if you want the head on the network, and only at the house. Do not put the password in the form.
