About this area
Ramrod Key is compact. Houses, a few marine businesses, and canal access pack into a short stretch of US-1. Residential overhead doors are often on raised homes whose lower level is open to gear and salt. The island does not have Big Pine's pine rockland or Key West's old grid.

Open lower levels
