About this work
LiftMaster operators are common on Keys and South Dade sectionals. We service the unit on the rail. That is not a dealer appointment and not a promise that every accessory in a brochure fits the logic era on your cover.
What we need from the cover
The model, and whether the rail is a belt or a chain. The learn button and the force settings belong to that generation. A photo of the label is more useful than a photo of the outside of the door.
Sister brands are not automatic parts matches
LiftMaster and Chamberlain come from the same manufacturer. The model still decides which rail parts and which logic apply. We do not swap a board because the badge looks related.
When the motor is not the fault
A door that is heavy by hand needs the balance trade, not a larger LiftMaster. A hum with no travel is a reason to stop pressing the button and to say so in the note.
The cover is the parts list
LiftMaster heads are common on sectional doors from Key West through South Miami. We service the unit that is installed. That is not a dealer appointment, and it is not a promise that every accessory in a current brochure fits the logic era on your cover. The model number, and whether the rail is a belt or a chain, decides the parts. A photograph of the label is more useful than a photograph of the outside of the door. Sister branding with Chamberlain does not make a board interchangeable.
When the head is only reporting the door
A door that feels heavy with the trolley released needs the balance trade, not a larger LiftMaster. A hum with no travel is a reason to stop pressing the button. If the wall button runs the door and the remote does not, the head may be fine and the transmitter or the learn routine may not. Say which of those you are seeing so the visit is not planned as a full replacement.
Common questions
Are you a LiftMaster dealer?
No. We service the operator. Dealership is a separate relationship this page does not claim.
The wall button works and the remote does not. Is the head finished?
Often the head is fine and the transmitter or the learn routine is not. That is still this visit, not a new door.
Are you a LiftMaster dealer?
No. We service the operator that is installed. Dealership is a separate relationship, and this page does not claim it.
