South Dade
South Miami is the north edge of this map, a city of its own.
About this area
The City of South Miami clusters around Sunset Drive, with a small downtown, Metrorail within reach, and shaded residential streets of slab houses and older garages. It is not the City of Miami, not Coral Gables, and not Pinecrest, though all three are close enough that sloppy notes confuse them. Keys Door Co stops the published map here. Beaches, Brickell, and Hialeah are not on it.

Why this page exists anyway
People search the city they live in. This page answers with South Miami's streets and with this company's island-and-approach context. It does not reuse another company's city essay, and the URL is /south-dade/south-miami/ rather than a shared service-area pattern.
Older city garages
Single-car openings are more common here than in West Kendall's tracts. Low headroom and a door that was trimmed decades ago show up. Measure before anyone talks about a new leaf. A single-car spring is not a two-car spring.
Common questions
Do you continue north into Coral Gables or the City of Miami?
Those cities are not given pages. If you are unsure whether the address is South Miami, use the city on the address before you write.
Is a Metrorail station a useful pin?
It only says 'near downtown South Miami.' The street is the pin.
