Door Stuck Mid-Travel in Marathon
A Marathon door that halts mid-travel is balance, a roller, or an operator reporting the weight of the leaf. Interior streets usually mean an ordinary slab garage, where cycles and heat do more of the aging than spray. Canal streets often mean a bay closer to salt, sometimes under the house, with scale starting at the bottom fixture. The street finds the driveway, while the Seven Mile Bridge can reorder a day without naming the opening or the failed part.
Interior rooms and canal bays
The two settings share a city and do not share a hardware history, so the kind of street comes first. An interior opening fails from repeated cycles more often than from anything blown off the water. A canal-street opening can show scale on the low fixture while the stall is still a heavy leaf or a flat roller. If water is visible from the apron, say so, and if the garage is an ordinary interior room, say that instead.
What the button is doing
Give the position with the control: raised, down, or cocked, and whether the wall button still draws the trolley. A moving trolley and a still door point at balance or a roller, which are separated at the opening rather than from the street. A hum and no travel means stop pressing, on an interior slab and beside a canal, because another press does not lighten the leaf.
When the cord is the wrong move
Release the door only if it feels normal in the hand and then stays where you set it. If it shoots upward or drops, leave the release engaged and keep people clear of the opening. On a canal street that space may be a walk other people use, and on an interior street it may be the path to the car. Neither case is a reason to stand under a panel that has started to run on its own.
What can stay in service
A flattened roller is replaced and a straight door stays, while a split section or a shaft out of its bearing can retire the leaf. Chalk from canal spray is a clue, and the call is still made at the opening. Count one spring or two from the floor, and leave the set screws untouched.
The street rather than the bridge
The street name, interior or canal, and a cross street on a long block are what locate the stop. Leaf position, trolley behavior, and a bang or a gradual gain belong with that street, not with the bridge. Say where a van can stand if the canal street is narrow, and send a still photo from the pavement. If a car is trapped because travel will not finish, say the car is trapped so the urgency is plain.

Common questions
Does an interior stall differ from a canal stall?
The separation is the same three ways, balance, a roller, or the operator reporting weight, and the setting is what differs. A canal street can add scale at the low hardware, while an interior garage is often an ordinary slab that has been cycled hard.
Is the Seven Mile Bridge a useful way to find the door?
The bridge is not the driveway, and the street is what places the van on the correct block. The stall still needs the leaf position and whether the wall button still moves the trolley, plus a stop if the head only hums.
What stays in place if the cord lets the door shoot up?
The release stays engaged and people stay clear, on an interior slab or a canal-street bay. A door that shoots up or drops is not a hand lift, and the cord is reasonable only when the door feels normal and stays put.
