Can one cracked pane be replaced without a new door?
When the aluminum frame is still straight, the broken sheet can be replaced on its own. It is matched for size and thickness, and the rest of the frame stays. A twisted frame is a different repair, because new glass in a racked frame is likely to crack again.
Does the glass make the door wind rated?
A rating belongs to a tested build, which is specified on its own if that is what you need. Glass work here is the sheet and the frame. The aluminum can stay when the crack is the only damage.
Why does an aluminum door rust at the hinges?
